Growth in the Construction sector of Ukraine in 2015

In 2015 the overall finished construction compared to 2014 increased by 9.3%.

State Statistic service of Ukraine reports that the overall volume of Construction in 2015 compared to 2014 increased by 9.3% and reached 55.9 billion UAH (excluding: Crimea, city of Sevastopol, part of Donetsk and Lugansk region).

In particular, in 2015 housing construction rose by 20.3% (up to a total of 13.6 billion UAH), nonresidential construction rose by 5.9%* (up to a total of 14.4 billion UAH), construction of engineering structures rose by 6.5% (up to 27.9 billion UAH).

New construction, reconstruction and modernization in 2015 were 80.1% out of the total, capital repairs and maintenance 11.8% and 8.1% respectfully.
