Gasoline prices are going down (infographics)

According to the European Commission, the retail prices for fuel went down in the member states of EU from 10.16.2017 till 10.23.2017. The biggest fall in prices for gasoline A-95 has been observed in Finland (-2.2%); Denmark (-1.8%); and France (-1.18%). On the other hand, a price hike for gasoline A-95 has been reported in In Belgium (1.07%); Poland (0.93%); and Slovakia (0.71%).

The map shows the price fluctuations for gasoline A-95 in percent.

The cheapest gasoline A-95 is sold in Bulgaria (Euro1.01/liter); in Poland (Euro1.09/liter); and Romania (Euro1.1/liter); the most expensive A-95 is sold in the Netherlands (Euro1.53/liter); in Italy (Euro1.52/liter); and in Greece (Euro1.5/liter).

Even though the price of gasoline has been going down in the European petrol stations the prices for diesel fuel went up. The most significant increase in prices for diesel has been witnessed in Belgium (2.25%); in Luxemburg (1.5%); and in the Netherlands (1.14%) and in the same time a drop in prices for diesel has been seen in Ireland (-2.4%); in Finland (-1.32%); and in Bulgaria (-0.79%).

The most expensive diesel fuel is sold in Sweden (Euro1.44/liter); in Italy (Euro1.39/liter); in the United Kingdom (Euro1.35/liter); and the cheapest is in Bulgaria (Euro1.00/liter); in Luxemburg (Euro1.02/liter); in Lithuania (Euro1.02/liter).
