The Ukrainian government expects the growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019 at 3.6%. This was announced today by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv during a speech at the Ukrainian Week in London.
“By the end of this year, we expect growth of at least 3%, in 2019 – at 3.6%,” he said.
At the same time, according to Kubiv, the government puts a medium-term target on growth within the range of 5-7% of GDP.
The World Bank forecasts 3.3% GDP growth in Ukraine for 2018 with the precondition of continued reforms and cooperation with the IMF, and in 2019, it is estimated at 3.5%.
