In 2018 ZAZ is planning to unveil an electric bus

Zaporizhia Car Building Plant (ZAZ) is preparing to present in 2018 an electric bus this has been informed by Nikolay Evdokimov the Chairman of the Board of ZAZ, reported by Liga.net journalist.

The Plant has already made the design and now it is being fitted with components.

“Our partner in Poland who is selling our buses wants to place an order for electric buses and we are now in the stage of development of the product”, declared the chief of ZAZ.

For today, the general design of the electric buss is ready and now it is being fitted with the components such as “drive train, control system, battery. The vehicle must allow a certain range and these problems are now being solved. It is foreseen that the prototype will be ready next year”, Nikolay Evdokimov noted.

ZAZ today is producing two models of buses A07 and A010 on the chassis of TATA.
