Ukrainian gravel production increased in August, 2016

16.5 % surge in gravel production has been reported in August, 2016 compared to August, 2015.

According to the State Statistic Service of Ukraine gravel production in August, 2016 reached 6.42 million tonnes which is 16.5% more than in August, 2015 (excluding: Crimea, city of Sevastopol, part of Donetsk and Lugansk region). August output is the best starting from August, 2015, if compared to July, 2016 it is 4.7% up.

In general, gravel production in January-August, 2016 reached 38.26 million tonnes and for the whole year is expected to be on the level not less than in 2015.
