Price index for steam coal went up by 10%

Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has published the monthly Price index of steam coal (HBA) for September 2016 at $63.93/tonne, FOB, which is 9.5% higher than in August and 9.8% higher than last year the same month. 

HBA price index is the benchmark for the calculation of royalty payments for 75 brands on Indonesian coal, which the mining companies have to pay per tonne for the coal sold or exported. The Index is calculated for the coal GAR 6322 kcal/kg, moisture content 8%, ash 15% and sulfur – 0.8%.
